Its a wrap and the Sweet Oak riders are still in top form across many different divisions. Congrats to everyone! It's great to go out with a bang! Olivia was Champion on Smartie Pants in the Cross Rail Hunters Younger. Brett won an Equitation 15-17 class on Goldwave which resulted in being Reserve Champion. Hilma with Tom Foley aboard was 5th our of 49 in the 1.30m, Cilke Quality was 3 out of 31 in the Adult Jumpers with Lindsey Tomeu, Solo Des Forets was 6th out of 69 with Claire Blakewell, Easy Money with Lacey Gilbertson was 2nd out of 29 in the HIgh A/O Jumpers, Brett Burlington was 6th out of 68 in the Low Jr. Jumper Classic on Upland S.E, Violetta with Abbey Soffer was 5 out of 42 in the Low Jr. Jumpers, Tracey Gorin-Byrne was 8th out of 31 in the Adult Jumpers on Roc the Boat. The Rogalny sisters continued their winning ways...Christina on 3 Wishes and Grand Slam with top ribbons and Skylar grabbing 12th our of 62 in the Low Jr. Jumpers. Lindsey Tomeu was Reserve Champion on Holiday, winning two out of the 5 classes in the Adult Amateur Hunters. After eleven weeks of winter circuit Shane Sweetnam is still on a roll. Shane was 2nd and 3rd this week on Beluga in the $34,000 FEI 1.45 Speed classes. And with a perfect double clear round on Chaqui Z in the $34,000 Ruby et Violette WEF Rd XI, Shane ended up 5th. Both Beluga and Chaqui Z are owned by Spy Coast Farm.

Lindsey Tomeu wins the Adult Amateur Jumper Classic 18-35 and the $1,500 Adult Amateur Jumper Class on Bonapart. In a very tight race for Circuit Champion Lindsey is now leading the division on Bonapart with two more weeks to go. Kaely Tomeu was 2nd with Fidalgo Van Het Leliehof in the highly competitive High Amateur Owner Jumpers. Shane also rode Fidalgo to an amazing 2nd place finish out of 117 in the 1.40 division. Olivia is reserve champion again on Smartie Pants the younger Cross Rail Hunter division. You go girl clearly following in her parents “stirrups”. Christina Rogalny continues her consistent winning ways on Grand Slam (Reserve Champion in Small Green Pony Hunters and standing 3rd in Circuit Standings) and Mr. Magoo (standing 5th in Circuit Standings). And added to her winning ways a win in the Medium Pony Handy Hunter on Crystal Acres Chocolatier. There were other notable winning ways – Alexander Devries on O'Splendido was 4th out of the very big Medium Amateur Owner Jumper division, Abbey Soffer was in the ribbons on both Violetta and Lundback in the Low Jr. Jumper and Medium Jr. Jumper divisions, Lacey Gilbertson carried Sweet Oak into a top ribbon on Record De Pleville in the Medium Amateur Owner Jumpers and Echo D in the High Amateur Owner Jumpers. And Claire Blakewell continued with Sweet Oak's winning ways with ribbons on Solo Des Forets in the Low Amateur Owner Jumpers. Congratulations to Christina Rogalny on Mr. Magoo, Champion in the Small Green Pony Hunters this week winning THREE classes!! Christina also took a tri-color with 3 Wishes in the Small/Medium Children's Hunters. And continuing her winning ways in the Cross-Rail Hunter, our youngest Sweet Oaker, Miss Olivia Sweetnam, was reserve champion on Strawberry Shortcake and is standing second in the Circuit Award for Cross Rail Hunters. Congrats to our youngest up and coming stars!
The older crowd had quite a few class winners too. Lindsey Tomeu won another class on Bonapart and is now standing 2nd in the Circuit Champion standings in the Adult Amateur 18-35 Jumpers. Lindsey also won a class on Holiday in the Adult Amateur Hunters. And Brett Burlington won the USEF Pessoa Hunter See Medal on Quigley. With the competition being so fierce and the classes so large just being in the ribbons is a huge accomplishment. Top ribbon winners this week include Claire Bakewell on Montevallo in the Adult Amateur Jumpers and she was 12th out of 81 in the $10,000 Low AO Classic on Solo Des Forets. Skylar Rogalny had a top three finish in the Low Junior Jumpers on Quiloa, Abbey Soffer had a top placing on Violetta in the Low Junior Jumpers and Daniel Arendt has some nice placings on Caraway this week. Tracey Gorin-Byrne was 6th on Olympic Lad in the very competitive Adult Jumper 18-35 Division and is 6th overall in the Circuit Award Standings. Brett rode Eregast Van't Kiezelhof to a 5th place finish in the High Junior Jumpers. And finally....Shane was 7th on Venturo 9 in the $34,000 Ruby et Violette and 3rd in the Nation's Cup on Spy Coast Farm's Chaqui Z (see story in the news below) Looks like much drier and warmer temperatures this week!! |
