Congratulations to Christina Rogalny on Mr. Magoo, Champion in the Small Green Pony Hunters this week winning THREE classes!! Christina also took a tri-color with 3 Wishes in the Small/Medium Children's Hunters. And continuing her winning ways in the Cross-Rail Hunter, our youngest Sweet Oaker, Miss Olivia Sweetnam, was reserve champion on Strawberry Shortcake and is standing second in the Circuit Award for Cross Rail Hunters. Congrats to our youngest up and coming stars!
The older crowd had quite a few class winners too. Lindsey Tomeu won another class on Bonapart and is now standing 2nd in the Circuit Champion standings in the Adult Amateur 18-35 Jumpers. Lindsey also won a class on Holiday in the Adult Amateur Hunters. And Brett Burlington won the USEF Pessoa Hunter See Medal on Quigley.
With the competition being so fierce and the classes so large just being in the ribbons is a huge accomplishment. Top ribbon winners this week include Claire Bakewell on Montevallo in the Adult Amateur Jumpers and she was 12th out of 81 in the $10,000 Low AO Classic on Solo Des Forets. Skylar Rogalny had a top three finish in the Low Junior Jumpers on Quiloa, Abbey Soffer had a top placing on Violetta in the Low Junior Jumpers and Daniel Arendt has some nice placings on Caraway this week. Tracey Gorin-Byrne was 6th on Olympic Lad in the very competitive Adult Jumper 18-35 Division and is 6th overall in the Circuit Award Standings. Brett rode Eregast Van't Kiezelhof to a 5th place finish in the High Junior Jumpers. And finally....Shane was 7th on Venturo 9 in the $34,000 Ruby et Violette and 3rd in the Nation's Cup on Spy Coast Farm's Chaqui Z (see story in the news below)
Looks like much drier and warmer temperatures this week!!
